Daemon Blak started playing guitar at age 15. his initial influence was blues, until he became influenced by Black Sabbath, Iron Maiden, and Metallica and started playing heavy metal. After playing in "THE WARNING" and a couple of other bands, Daemon retired from music in 1993 to attempt to live a "normal life". That didn't exactly work out as planned because creative types (musicians, artists, writers) cannot be described as normal. After a divorce in 2000 and eventually the death of his father in December 2006, Daemon determined it was time to come back to his first love- MUSIC. In January of 2007, Daemon decided to make his comeback. He wrote 25 original songs and recorded them in his home studio. In April 2008, Daemon created metal band "HAMMER OF FATE" with a local drummer. From 2008 to 2009, "HAMMER OF FATE" went through numerous lineup changes. the lineup changes did not create a stable lineup that worked, so "HAMMER OF FATE" was disbanded in November, 2009. In December, 2009 Daemon started over, creating a metal band project called "DARK BLU". From December 2009 to September 2011, Daemon recorded 32 original songs with lyrics, and continued to seek a female rock singer to join his solo project and make it a duo.

I'm a producer,songwriter,engineer that is truly in love with music and hip hop .i'm a former owner of a mobile dj service called the d.c. conection. kalamazoo michigan was my stomping grounds.we had about 60% of the whole campus under contract with us to do there cross over balls step shows etc. from there i moved to ohio and emerged as a dominant force in ohio's underground hip hop scene.i was a member of all out and dropped the born in the ghetto (remix) nominated for the ohio underground music awards.from there i continued as a solo artist and did a lot of shows with lil scrappy,d12,mike jones & paul wall jus to mention a few.since then i've started my own label called complex thinkers inc. i soon met shark vishus and found we sounded really grimy together so his label chunk block ent. and mine converged into the unstoppable force called the conglomerate.since then we have been burning up the underground from ohio to florida,we have recently got nominated for best rap group in the palm beach music awards. me and my bro are here to take no prisoners and leave nothing left to be giving at this music so holla at us if you are looking for some cats that get it done.

Carmen, meaning song in latin, couldn’t be a more fitting name for chanteuse Carmen Olivia. A true lover of soul, hip-hop, and jazz—Carmen’s voice has been molded by greats such as Karen Carpenter, Luther Vandross, Sade, and Whitney Houston since the tender age of nine. Her passion and talent lead her to perform in community musicals, weddings, and events.

Carmen moved to Tallahassee, Florida and became the leading lady of After The Smoke. Her voice caught the attention of T.J. Chapman, manager of B.o.B; Bryce Wilson, founder of Czar Entertainment; and William H., former A&R of Atlantic Records. However, in wanting to pursue their own endeavors, After The Smoke continued their independent journey. During this time,Carmen performed at a number of locations in the southeast including Atlanta’s Tree Sound Studios, where she continues to record.

Carmen relocated to Atlanta, Georgia in the summer of 2009 to pursue her solo music, acting, and songwriting career. She is currently working on her first EP with producers in the Atlanta and New York City areas.

David Martinez decided to embark on a music career back in 2005. After years of writing, playing guitar, and performing live at Open Mics, he took his music on the road in 2006 hitting the Western and Northern US. On a stop in Hollywood, David met his future producer Leroy Miller and in 2007 he recorded his debut album in Los Angeles. In 2008, he put the David Martinez Band together and released his debut album in 2009. The release followed a nationwide radio promotion which garnered positive reviews from programmers. The band played with the likes of Bob Schneider and were top 12 finalist in a National Battle of the Bands sponsored by Land Shark and Rhapsody Music and played the legendary KLRU studios in Austin, Texas. They were also sponsored by AXE in the fall of 2009. In 2010, David released a new single, “Hey Mary” , recorded in Nashville with Leroy Miller, and was received with rave reviews by such groups as Planet LA Records and Indie On Air. This resulted in several showcases during SXSW with Planet LA and Indie on Air. David is slated to record some new tracks this summer and continue to a huge nationwide tour is in the works for next year. Stay tuned

Born William Drayton on March 16, 1959, rapper and reality television star Flavor Flav emerged in the late ’80s as the humorous hypeman of Public Enemy and then reinvented himself in the 2000s thanks to VH1′s reality series The Surreal Life. Raised in Freeport, Long Island, he was a self-taught prodigy on the piano but petty theft and burglary charges meant his teen years were spent dodging the department of corrections. After dropping out of high school in his junior year, music came back into Flav‘s life when he began hosting a college radio program with Carlton Douglas Ridenhour, the man who would soon become Chuck D. With DJ Terminator X and squad leader Professor Griff they would form Public Enemy, a group that in 1987 would change rap forever when its debut album, Yo! Bum Rush the Show, was released on the Def Jam label. With “stunna shades” hiding his eyes and over-sized clocks hanging off his neck, Flavor Flav played court jester to the stern and cold Chuck D. It was a formula that would work for the next 20-plus years, withFlavor occasionally becoming the center of attention with tracks like “Too Much Posse,” “911 Is a Joke,” “Can’t Do Nuttin’ for Ya Man,” and “Cold Lampin’ with Flavor.”

During the ’90s he spent much of his time away from music, dealing with crack addiction and spending time at the Betty Ford Clinic plus the Long Island Center for Recovery. Charges of domestic violence and driving with a suspended license meant he was in and out of jail again during these times and with Public Enemy on hiatus, Flavmade his money by scalping baseball tickets around the Bronx. In 2003, on a suggestion from Chuck D, he moved back to the West Coast. Sought out by the producers of the show, Flavor joined the cast of the reality show The Surreal Life in 2004, living with the likes of Charo and Dave Coulier while falling in love with the Amazon of the house, Brigitte Nielsen. In 2005, the couple’s love affair continued on the spinoff series Strange Love, but when the relationship ended in 2006, it spun off another Flavor-centered series, Flavor of Love, which would last for three seasons. Now back on top, the rapper released his debut solo album, Flavor Flav, in 2006 and suffered the jabs of Katt Williams, Patton Oswalt, Lisa Lampanelli, and others when The Comedy Central Roast of Flavor Flav aired in 2007. A year later he became a featured actor on the myNetworkTV sitcom Under One Roof.

Who is he?

Business owner, Graphic Designer, Hip Hop Artist, has two internationally recognized music singles, featured on Mixtapes from the UK hosted by DJ Bunty (Mixkings) and Knew Rulz (Draft Pick DJs) , most recently having a track produced by US Producer Illmind who has been linked to G-Unit and featured on one of Illmind’s signature mixtapes Blaps Rhymes & Life vol. 5 co- produced by one of England biggest Djs, Dj Dub MD which has reached close to 200,000 downloads which dropped in February 2011 and Siege will be featured on another mixtape out of Las Vegas done by The Mixtape Brothers due to release on June 4^th 2011. He has received airplay on stations in Los Angeles, Las Vegas, Houston and New York.

After hearing Siege the first question on people’s lips was exactly where is Siege from? The answer to that being somewhere no one would’ve guessed…Trinidad & Tobago. Yes Trinidad & Tobago, the same place great artists such as Heather Headley, Chip Fu, Etienne Charles and Niki Minaj to name a few came from but unlike the rest Siege has never left his native country, yet possess a sound that has been considered one that fits in globally.

Born on November 1^st 1985 to parents of Black and East Indian descents, Siege was always recognized as composed, humble being. He was blessed with artistic abilities in poetry, painting and visual arts. He was both respected and admired by his peers.

Residing in the town of Belmont located in Port of Spain, Trinidad, he grew up amongst mixed influences, being exposed to the bright and dark side of life. Siege observed his counterparts and gained knowledge and was greatly educated about the rules and ways of street life.

Although he was exposed to the drug pushers and the street life, he still completed his education, gained an average job and tried to establish himself in the economic world. Still having a love for poetry and rap music Siege recognized that he had a great talent and should put it to good use. “Being exposed to music by great emcees such as NAS, Killer Priest, Rakim, Black Thought from the Roots, KRS One, Busta Rhymes, The Wu Tang Clan and Dr. Dre just to name a few, tends to have an effect on you over a period of time” He said.

Realizing this he started his journey as an emcee at the age of 19 years in 2004. He was quickly recognized for his ability to be uniquely lyrical and hold down freestyle session like days of old on street corner ciphers. Other emcee’s from around the way heard of him and started to vibe off his style and persona. “We use to have ciphers all the time, we used to feed off each other’s lyrics just making our own internal flame spark, priming us to spit our hardest and do lyrical and verbal damage to opponents” he said.

He started recording with some local underground artists and it went well for a while but he later decided to spread his wings and pursue his own path and squash the whole group idea. “It wasn’t for me, I just didn’t mesh with those brothers, we all had creative differences and like crabs in a bucket they tried to push down each other …not my style” he said

He took a break for a while and concentrated on graphic arts but as with any addiction he was back to developing his talent as an emcee once more. Later on in November 2006 he started working on music with his long time friend Christopher aka D’Chris/Bruce Wheyn of D2B (Dem 2 Boie). “I knew Chris since childhood, we chopped it up a few times but decided to take it serious in 2006” he said. Christopher then introduced Siege to Miguel aka Boogie Brown of D2B, Producer. “First time before I went to studio D’Chris warned me, Boogie don’t feel bullshit, he is real, as real as you could ever be when it comes to Hip Hop but soon as he heard me rap, he got all the proof he needed that I was indeed a force to be reckoned with.” he said. Since then they’re worked on different projects such as “The Urban Re-Collective” Album, “The Brick Soup Kitchen” Album and featured on many of D’Chris Flip City Mix Shows. Siege now in his 20’s and certified graphic artist is still hard at work perfection is discipline as an emcee.

Siege is currently recording his Mixtape “Black Diamond Chronicles” working with producers such as The Beat Heroes out of Miami, Florida, London based producer Anno Domini and German producer Philip Grothe of MAKA Productions. He has also currently teamed up with Jedi Night Skool out of the US and is working on a EP, Title, Guest features and date of release to be announced.

A secret love affair, you’ve taken me by your hand you’ve lead me at the beat of your heart you took me amorously you stirred feelings that thrive on this lust, this love, this desire you’ve awakened any dull moments in my life when I am with you. You’re like the light in the dark you lead the way to a sanctuary of sounds that vibrate through my body touching every sense in me. Igniting moves as you dip me fiercely staring deep into my soul with your eyes. And when you dance with me, I fall weak to your strong hands and your firm body. I’ve longed for you to touch me this way. You’ve not touched me fervently but calmly and loosely to a point of no return. I’m capsulated by your love. Love Letter 7 - To My Husband - Heartaches

Dear Husband,

I come to you today because I have no one else to tell my secrets to nor do I wish to share them with anyone else. I always write letters of love and never of the pain and this one, this letter is about the pain that I suffer when you are away. Forgive me this once for the negativity, as I flourish in words….

It is not easy to be absent from you without pain. The feelings of love I’ve suppressed in fears that when the day comes to greet you I will be unable to sustain them. Rushing into your arms wind through my hair and pushing through crowds to see you once again. To kiss your tender lips, soft sweet chocolate lips. Out of the depths of my bewildered heart flows a tangible current of love, streaming through tears. Tears set free, form such a yearning to hold, see, touch, feel, and hear you.

As I sit here I pondered many thoughts of the time that I have shared with you. We’ve grown together and you’ve been my strong hold. I sit beneath the dim light of the lamp and the coolness of the evening and amongst the many shadows in this dark moment and I miss you.

My heart is heavy dear, with wonders of you and the day you’ve yet to be in my life forever. I envy the flowers of the garden that you’ve once walked amongst in my dreams, because the flowers stand so sweet yet so strong and alive. My dreams without you are tedious like a slow death, I awake at times with great sorrow and disappointment.

My views and opinions on tattoos ...

So back when I was younger I was always asked about if I wanted to get a tattoo or if I ever thought about getting one. The answer is yes I pondered this thought many times and the pressure of wanting one was great! I wanted one so bad just to rebel against my mother because she never had one and she never believed in getting them and they weren’t for ladies. Apparently “whores” had them, prostitutes or people who had hard lives or were on drugs. Some people get them because they want to change their persona from looking "Nerd to Geek " in which being a Geek is much cooler.

I’ve even had people I worked with detectives, and such people in respectable job positions tell me that they wouldn’t accept food from people with tatoos and then I started to look at the people that I would come in contact with that had tattoos on their hands. Thinking does this person do drugs what if this person has aids, could this have any effect on me?

As I grew out of that thinking method and just started to ignore things again I realized it wasn’t a great harm that someone did have a tattoo on their hand. But I have also learned that heroin addicts did hide their scars with tattoos but so did just ordinary people who have had accidents or birth marks or scars that they wanted to have hidden.

People get tattoos for different reasons another subject was the young adults that were getting what you call the “Tramp Stamps” this basically signifies that you "like" anal sex by getting this tattoo located on your lower back just above your buttocks. If you think about it tattoos are solicited as being sexy, or cool. So people associate tattoos with sex instantly. Especially in the world of photography because they aim to show off the tattoo but sometimes neglect the person and their beliefs or strengths or motives for actually getting the tattoo.

People are also getting tattoos that are similar to each other to declare their undying love for one another as stated in this article here where they display Hebrew tattoos and foreign language. http://hubpages.comhub/Tattoo_Ideas_Hebrew_Words_Phrases I believe even Angelina Jolie and many other celebrities have gotten their tattoos as such. I have had family that has had tattoos and they won’t remove them for their own personal reasons. Tattoos stand for something far more deeper than just a piece of art work I believe that it stands for your heritage your race, your decree in the world this is how people look at it. This is why they refuse to remove them when asked to do so for work because they feel that they’re being stripped of their history their belief, and again this is how they demonstrate their freedom of the 1^st amendment. “Freedom of Expression”

So why wouldn’t it be ok for me to get a tattoo right? I am old enough now and able to get one and now that I have had a rare look into the idea of it I am reluctant to do so. Why you ask, one because I have seen so many young teen -agers get them that I think it’s more for young adults than it is an adult I think it’s a stage we all grow out of. I believe it’s a desire you have at the moment but then you change your mind later realizing I wish I had not done that. Because when your children, see you doing things like this they will follow in your foot steps and to what extreme do you think they might go? See examples of what i mean by extreme behavior in the below link…. Not only that but what are you opening their world up too?

Now that you know my decision on the subject how about my other view “Devils Advocate” Yes I love the tattoos I love the way they look and I am all for “Freedom of Expression”. I believe if I were to ever get a tattoo it would be something like the one here in this photograph to the right, because if I ever had to defile my body it would be like this something beautiful.

Now back to the “non-Advocate” view I’ve expressed many of the rare reasons why I wouldn’t get a tattoo and some of the reasons why I would but here I will also give you my religious view God made us in his image why would I want to change that or alter it? Oh I can hear you grumbling already! Lolol don’t worry I am not judging you these are just views as you state your tattoos are expressions so is my writings. I am expressing my differences and my beliefs, and my opinions as you are with tattoos which prove my point that tattoos are more than just Art. Some tattoos demonstrate the more tribal art like below and as stated and expressed in the first link provided above.

In the second link above it’s funny they will show you a few of the many meanings of what tattoos mean, but they never tell you or show you the gang related tattoos. Why is this? Why would anyone who is so defensive to standing up for their gang or standing up for their barrio or their city? Here are only a few reasons why they are hiding the meaning beneath the art because this is how they communicate with each other to decipher who is who and which involvement with which gang and how many years you have been in that gang. I asked once, what that tear drop meant underneath a young man’s eye, he said it meant that he had killed someone. It was part of his initiation to the gang involvement.

There are other gangs and I have to also be careful of what I share because of the privacy of others. There are so many individuals who are even tattooing themselves on their forehead and underneath their hair so when they shave their head it is on their head to be seen for all to know where they came from. But the thing about this is that those same people have suffered have lived a hard life and have come from a background with a rough upbringing. Which in my opinion is probably the worse reason to get a tattoo because when those people that have hurt you die you’re stuck with the remembrance of it all? Then there are those that can’t get a job because their face it tattooed unless you’re working in a tattoo parlor.

I’ve assisted many people in my young age with resume writing these are grown folks in their 40’s and above that don’t know or forgot to write a resume. How do you think I feel when I am sitting next to these people who have had time to learn but don’t put enough effort into themselves they don’t love themselves enough to educate themselves to do their activisms wisely. No for years the Hispanic heritage is always the parents looking to the oldest to take care of them when they grow old.

I am facing these issues now in my life and what difference does a tattoo make? Sure I can have my say in the world right, but what real difference is it doing? Other than making a statement of where I am from. I wish these gangs would do greater things than what most of them do. Another psychological view is that some people like pain, and or suffered pain in their life and when you get a tattoo it is like if you have one it some how eases the pain because the person feels that they have let it out their say without words. Their point of view without having to say anything.

Any how these are my views about tattoos and it’s not about “gangs” that is for another blog someday. So if you are thinking of getting a tattoo either way I hope that I have not discouraged you but have opened your eyes and mind to the some hidden meanings to having a tattoo.

Thoughts about Beautification - My Rant

Beautification is the process of making visual improvements to a person, place or thing. With regard to a town, city or to an urban area, this most often involves planting trees, shrubbery, and other greenery, but frequently also includes adding decorative or historic-style street lights and other lighting and replacing broken pavement, often with brick or other natural materials. Old-fashioned cobblestones are sometimes used for crosswalks; they provide the additional benefit of slowing motorists.

Beautification projects are often undertaken by city councils to refurbish their downtown areas, in order to boost tourism or other commerce. Often, this is also spurred by broken sidewalks, which pose a safety hazard for pedestrians and potentially insurmountable obstacles for wheelchair users. These projects are frequently part of other larger projects such as construction, especially in conjunction with ones for transit, such as streets and roads and mass transit.

Because I have been a resident of my city for over 20 years, I feel that this need is important. I have worked with many of these workers, who are utilized to help maintain the beautification of our City. I am not being negative toward them and their work they have done. They have done much work but the supply of workers, doesn’t meet the demand of our city. Neither do the funds for the equipment meet its financial needs. I still don’t think that this has any effect on why I am writing this blog.

I’ve recently noticed that area’s where the big offices of the City Hall, or The Police Department, or the Community Relations Office are located are much cleaner than other area’s in our City. I noticed things that have been over looked even though the workers continue to maintain certain areas of the City’s shrubs and scenic views. The City has made many developments and many enhancements but I have also noticed money being spent in areas of our City that could be spent on other areas of more importance.

For instance one area of the City where the welcome sign is has been beautified twice! Not just once but the first time they did it, I was amazed and it looked beautiful and over time I have watched them change it for a second time. They laid down grass and then they dug it up and laid it out again, it was like kids with building blocks. Either someone was making decisions and couldn’t decide exactly the way it should have looked in the first place.

These are the things I have witnessed with my very own eyes. I have also witnessed many of the crime rates going down because of the same Beautification Unit fighting to keep Graffiti down, while focusing on that other things get overlooked in my opinion. But at the same time if you don’t have a Community that gets involved to help their City grow things remain the same.

So, I’ve done my part aside from complain about these several incidents I stood back and just watched as time has went by. But I’ve held it in long enough. I walked through this one tunnel several times and every time I have I have to pass the smell of urine and bird pooh. I walked to go get dinner several times or to go get videos and then I come home and when I finally get home to relax I am disgusted by the smell and sight that I lose my appetite.

I have faced not only these horrid eye sores but I have had to deal with homeless men that are hanging around the area. I had one man come up to me suspiciously look around to see if anyone was looking as he stepped to me in my space and asked me if I was married and if I lived alone and where was I walking too. Now in other towns and areas I have never had to deal with this type of behavior but this tunnel has attracted the wrong attention and because of the lights that haven’t been changed in I don’t know how many years it is darker than usual at night.

So it not only enables the men during the cold rainy dark times to take more notice and advantage of the secluded areas. The thing that bothers me is that there are kids that walk down this street to take the bus to go to school or that are coming home from school. So you ask what’s my passion behind this whole blog, it’s that I’ve been giving back to my Community but honestly I do not feel that my City officials have really been there for my City. I wish that they would get rid of most of the City council members and put in a whole new batch of people who are dedicated to really taking action! I am so tired of these older officials I mean seriously, I think our City would benefit from a younger generation of people than these old heavy set people in wheel chairs that can’t and haven’t even taken change in their own lives!

These people who mentor our children I remember a time back when I was younger. I was in fourth grade I will never forget this moment, I really wanted to learn my times tables. It was a big thing for me because back then Math was my favorite subject. Our Mayor at the time was visiting our class it was a big day for me to meet the Mayor she sat next to me this big heavy set woman with white hair and on the small chair. I thought wow how important I felt. Right? Doesn’t it always seem that way when you are younger that these important people in your life make you feel important! Well she sat with me trying to teach me my times tables, but she didn’t teach me she showed me how to cheat. That experience alone made me lose all the trust I had in the system alone. I honestly at that age was upset that she had taught me to cheat and didn’t really take the time to teach me my times tables.

Well she’s not the Mayor anymore no, we’ve had several since then but the latest one I was surprised to hear about because he was a man who I had held in high regard. His wife was believe it or not was a teacher or substitute one or the other, anyhow he was recently in the news paper for domestic violence and alcohol. I mean come on! Well this blog isn’t about their family issues, nor is it about their life, it’s about my experience with the business positions they have held in my City and the fact that not even our Officers are being paid enough money for what they do.

Enough of my ramblings, here are a few Photographs to share with you what I am talking about….. It was funny because just yesterday i had brought up the subject and today i caught the Beautification Unit working on the same area of which i am discussing. But they still left behind the years of bird droppings and the stains on the walls have yet to be taken care of. The piles were bigger than this, as previously shown on other photo's it's just that they swept some of it up just not all of it. Above is before, they swept up some of it, and below is after they swept it. what more can you get from these community service/cal trans workers that don't get paid to do this.

Another point is that not only are the City officials responsible for making sure these issues are being met, but it's the responsibilities of some of these business owners. #JustSaying

ABORTION AND ITS ARGUMENTS

“Value Conflict” In the next few paragraphs if you haven’t already made your decision on abortion, weather to be pro-life or pro-choice. You will see that you will have “Value Conflict” the value being freedom. Do your core values change? I will share some pro-choice views and pro-life views in which you will be able to question if you still hold strongly to your view without question?

[Science and reason clearly reveal a human fetus to be a human being]

The above proposition is a statement of fact. Its truth or falsity is to be determined by applying principals of science and reasoning. It is not a question of opinion, belief, or religious dogma. Many reasons or justification for killing the unborn human, and thereby terminating an unwanted pregnancy, are not trivial; but certainly they should be examined with rigorousness given that the interest sought to be protected costs the life of a human being. Different people use different standards of measurement by which to define “human life” some use a theological or religious faith belief, some as philosophical theories and beliefs, others by using biologic, scientific facts.

[In regards to Rape Victims]

We must approach this with great compassion. The woman has been subjected to an ugly trauma, and she needs love, support and help. Being the victim of one violent act should we now ask that she become party to a second violent act – that of abortion? The percentage of rape pregnancies are said to be less than half. Back in 1999 when I started this research, There was a decreased rate in Rapes. What about if the rape victim is married? What if the rape victim is supported by her family members? What about other options?

Clearly you can tell that I am very passionate about this subject given my history. I am a product of a rape and speaking from experience I can tell you that it is a difficult decision to make and I am proud of my mom for what she had decided. Although, I have been a very hard worker, and I’ve went to college and I am here nothing’s wrong with me. There are many questions that I have had to face that will always be there for the rest of my life, like: What about the baby growing up without a father? I grew up without a father and to be honest with you, you do tend to look for that male security. But you find it in your uncle or your grandfather if you have a loving family, and if you have some type of religious faith you look to God your spiritual father who provides for you. But what happens if you don’t? Then the other option is adoption.

The mother may hate the child due to the fact that she may see some traits of the rapist within the child. This is true but it’s not because she hates the child it’s because she’s been hurt by this man really bad and will be reminded by it for the rest of her life. Will the child know his/her heritage? That’s the question that I still have to deal with. “Where did I come from Mommy?” What will the mother tell the child then?

The decision is when are they ready to hear the truth. I wasn’t ready to hear about the way I was born. I had raised questions like will I grow up to be like this rapist? I was a freshman in high school my mom had gotten married and the man she married wasn’t a good husband. Two years into the relationship she found out that this man was gay and then I had witnessed him abusing my mother. I was traumatized as a child and some things I still face today. I will always be reminded how I was born I can’t change that.

This is one of the major arguments today in our society. Will this child be abused because of who the father really is? Facts have proven that not too many people can get pregnant from a rape. There are many questions that too like … if the person is too old to conceive, or too young. How can we help? What programs should we have? What about population there are just enough of us in the world today.. It has also been proven that in some countries there are not enough people. And with that you need people to function in a society. I believe that before I did this report I was pro-life but when it comes down to it where does it all go back to? Education, I believe if we educated these high school/college students more then we wouldn’t be having this argument.

The whole reason why this has been a governmental issue is that we have to make sure that an increase in population wouldn’t harm our status now. Second, who will pay for these abortions? Where do our taxes go? I have made a decision not to have an opinion on either side.

I do believe that if there is a child that was a product of a bad home and with a parent that is not mentally fit to have a child and has somehow got pregnant what should she do? I thought classes to teach her how to care for this child. But who will pay for these classes? What if you have a parent that has 7 kids already and one day she doesn’t plan on it and she gets pregnant? What if you need to make the decision of killing your baby or dying because of complications? Where does your sanity lie here?

When it comes to your freedom and your freedom of speech, press, and so on if we give the government our decision to decide whether or not we will keep or not keep this child, then what about later on what other decisions is the government going to make for us? What do you believe do you kind of believe both views? Or neither?

Mic Budda and Buddah Bless passionately support their freedom of speech with an artistic merit in their music. “NRG was the original “Hip-Hop” group in the “A”. Along with other artist Mic Budda and Buddah Bless were one of the first Rapp artists on vinyl in Atlanta. Buddah Bless AKA "Flash" was the one who did all of the music production and Mic Budda AKA "Fresh-Ski" did the lyrical content. Buddah Bless pioneered the V-103 Fresh Party, hosted by Wanda Ramos of WKTU from New York. The Fresh Party was an hour radio show which played "Hip-Hop Music" on Friday nights. The show had over a 250,000 share of listeners, more than both drive times combined.

The group put out a small album "Creation" and two singles, "Let's Put It In Effect", and "Giving You The Best”“I have grown not just in years but as an MC I had a lot of experience in my lifetime” -Mic Budda

Mic Budda became an MC at the age of 9, his influence came from his father who DJ’d. He immediately became an MC he explains and states that growing up in New York. Mic Budda says it’s not only the music but it was the surrounding and culture of NY lead him to be the MC he is today. Other MC’s heard of Mic Budda at age 9 as he was writing his first rhyme which consisted of four pages front and back. His talent and writing skills gained him popularity with these other MC’s who soon paid Mic Budda to write their music for them.

The songs were mastered by Herb "The Hit-Man" Powers of the Hit Factory in New York. All of this was not by chance. Buddah Bless did his homework and they got a little international recognition.

Lately, I’ve been discovering some New and Up and coming Music! I’d like to share some ideas with you and let you know exactly what I am looking for.

What I’m looking for in the music that I review:

1. I’m looking for fresh talent! Something new that hasn’t been on the Radio yet. I’m seeking to help those struggling young artists. Any Genre!! I’m open minded and ready to sit down and review your Music/Talent!

2. An Inspirational artist, not so negative. Although I know it’s necessary to have a minimal amount of negativity. Not every artist can be as positive because they wouldn’t be struggling if everything was alright. I know that there are stories and life experiences that aren’t so pretty. With a regard to your feelings and an open mind I seek an individual/Group that has the hindsight to recognize what the boundaries of this is. I would like the individual/Group to succeed not just because they want too but because they have it in their heart and mind to be a ROLE model for younger men and women alike.

3. An individual/Group with a “Fresh Style”

There is no excuse for nudity and that is not what I am promoting I am all about young men and women making something of themselves without the backdrop of selling their body’s to get somewhere in life. It takes more than that! You wouldn’t expect me to be selling your music looking like aunt cha-cha! With the exception with the latest artists : ie., LadyGaga it really depends on what type of audience you are reaching. I preferably would like to get to know you on a professional level and would hope that you could provide me with a resume and professional photo of yourself this will help us both!

4. In Regards to Groups! - Team Players!

It takes huge dedication and strides to work together as a group. Because everyone has their own style and own opinion it makes it difficult to work with a group that doesn’t know what they want. Gather your ideas! If you request help with Graphic work or Photography please know what it is you want as a Group! Because not just for myself but when networking with other Photographers and Artists this will help you out more than it will help me! Know what you want as a team, agree as a team and deliver as a team!

If it is a group (as opposed to a solo artist) releasing the record, and if the group has not already formalized its relationship by way of a partnership agreement, incorporation, or limited liability company ("LLC"), there should at least be a clear and simple written agreement among the group members about how the finances of the recording project will be handled. 5. An Educated Artist!

Please if you rap know what your rhyming don’t just rhyme your words be real and concise. Please be knowledgable in the area of any legal ramifications of distribution or social media content.

Distribution and Promotion Strategy. Think ahead about how the record will be distributed, advertised, and promoted, and how much money will be needed to effectively market the record. Sometimes all (or almost all) of the budget for a project is spent on recording and manufacturing costs, and there is little or no money left to effectively advertise or promote the record. This, of course, is not really a legal issue but is such a common (and often fatal) problem.

Liability Releases/Permission Forms. You need to consider the possible necessity of getting a liability release or permission form signed in any of the following scenarios: (a) If a photograph and/or artistic image of an individual outside the group is included in the artwork; (b) If any of the artwork which you are going to use is owned by any third party; or (c) If any logos or trademarks owned by third parties appear in your artwork. There can be some tricky legal issues in this area, so be very careful here.

6. Anti-Vulgarity - In regards to all racial slurs, gang affiliated mentions, anything demeaning or degrading.

Out of all the movies that Tyler Perry has directed and or Produced this has got to be one of the best a very PROFOUND movie he’s done! I thought man this man has hit the jack pot with “Precious” But he didn’t stop he kept going he had more in him and he continues to show us that all his movies are family oriented about Forgiveness and this God fearing man brings not just poetry to life but comedy, song, dance, and the Gospel through his characters! This man Tyler Perry… has a fire inside him that no one can quench and it’s written all over his face!

I don’t want to burn it with that cliché oh it’s “Phenomenal” which most would suggest that it is, I prefer that it just be a heart felt down to earth film about the lives of women that are going through some form of crisis one way or another.

In any case the stories of these women wouldn’t have been voiced on their own. Instead with the help and direction of Mr. Perry these stories come to life in ways unbelievably astounding captivating every part of my soul. You will be laughing, crying, you will even be shrieking as you watch this movie but unless you’ve someway or another can relate to these women these “Colored Girl‘s” you won’t ever feel that deep rooted feeling that get’s in your gut like “I’ve been there before” “I know what he’s talking about”, “I can relate, I understand and I hear someone saying YOUR NOT ALONE” because “I am a Colored Girl” and you don’t have to be black to be colored.

I would encourage you not to only see this movie but MAKE an investment today something worth your time something valuable, your not just making an investment by buying Tyler Perry movies today but you are keeping with you a token so far more valuable than money, you can’t buy an understanding of someone’s life but you can share these movies with your family!

And I guarantee you your wife, your husband and children will have a better understanding of what life has to offer and what they do have and what they don’t have and where they have been and where they’re going if they continue the wrong route.

These movies are educating and inspiring and at the same time with a deep emotional level of awareness these movies provide laughter and give you that sense of the fact that “You never know what someone else is going through” Tyler Perry not only expresses these issues in women’s lives but the movie is very poetic and also touches on relationships. Janet Jackson plays the role of a business women who has a husband who likes being with men. Another woman invites a man over to her house for dinner and the man rapes her, another women is married to a man who suffers from Post Traumatic Stress Disorder and is not safe to have around their children and child services has to intervene.

“The movie not only reveals these women’s lives but when you relate to them on some level the movie actually reveals you the viewer. “

Tyler Perry for some reason or another has a thing with mentioning the neighbor a lot the helpful but nosey neighbor yes, there’s one in this movie too! She’s the kind of mother that most girls don’t see in their own mother.

As I watched this movie and I sat there listening to that man beat that women it brought me back to the childhood history of my mother being beat. Unlike in the movie I didn’t have a neighbor I could go to no one to comfort me at 4 years old when I thought my dad killed my mother rendering her unconscious. This movie has not only hit close to home with me but many others and hopefully those women that are in the same boat I hope they realize the extent of what could happen if they stay in a relationship like that.

It also encapsulates when a woman goes through an abortion. How many young teens have abortions because they don’t want their parents to find out that they had gotten pregnant, or fears of being rejected by family because they were having a child out of wed-lock. Not only do these women face tragic stories but this movie also demonstrates that even the counselors, teachers, advisors, neighbors and other family members suffer too.

My favorite part of the movie because I can relate closely to it is when the older daughter and mother were having a discussion about her husband molesting her daughter. Not only did the husband do this to the mother who is played by Whoopi Goldberg, but he abused his daughter also. You can see the cycle being played out through poetry as the women are talking to each other about themselves and their experiences.

The over all connection I have to this movie is that I am a woman and I have been in similar situations. As revealing as this movie is for myself it is that much more revealing to the real problems in our world. Not enough women are speaking up! Not enough women are sticking together! Women need to EMPOWER each other! That is my connection with this movie “WERE SISTERS” “I THINK THE LEAST WE CAN DO IS JUST BE THERE FOR EACHOTHER” -Excerpt from the movie

How many of you men and honestly live your life thinking about the things you’ve done to many women that you regret? I mean I sit here and I think about the ex boyfriends I’ve had. I haven’t had any real “Good” boyfriends in my life at all. As for men I really haven’t had anyone to really look up to that aspired greatness, for me most of the men including family members have made their own mistakes and lived their own life. I could never look at them in a different light than what they have shed. Some have done drugs and have been in jail some have died to obesity and my biological father well we won’t go there. Even my step-father who lived with me during my younger years did not appeal to me as a father more of just a man who lived with us a dad. There is a difference, not too many men in my life have been the model of a “GOOD man”.

I’m wondering if they thought about their children how their daughters would feel if they were treated this way. If “boys” didn’t take your daughter and open the door for her when they took her out to eat or if they didn’t keep their promises or if they weren’t honest with them. I mean if you had a daughter and she was coming to you and she cried her heart out and said “daddy, that boy broke my heart“. What are the things you would tell your daughter? What would you tell your son? I mean boys go through this too…. Not just girls they hurt and cry and lash out because they don’t know how to deal with things. Not excluding adults but that’s my whole point if we could some how change this from the root with the parents attitude and discipline ourselves to be better at this just at treating people better treating ourselves better. Then maybe our children won’t suffer the same things we’ve suffered.

They won’t be “Co-dependent”, “Needy”, “Self-centered” or have a low self esteem. How long does it take to heal from a broken heart? Are you allowing enough time between coming out of a relationship and moving into the next one? My ideal is to talk about it through the entire course of just getting to know someone one month two months three months …. After 3 months you should at least be able to say this bothers me can we talk about it.

I mean the girl starts out wishing and hoping and dreaming for a perfect romance and being married to the right man and she finds herself divorced taking care of kids alone with dogs eating ice cream and gaining weight. What kind of example is this for your children? What type of women meets men on a daily basis and different one’s at that… going from man to man figuring this is the right one… this time this one will be the last one, only to be broken and hurt again because she’s placed her trust into this man. I’ve witnessed a mother who neglected her son to date men she met at night clubs.” it happens a lot it’s just not talked about in the open.

I’ve dedicated my life to the Lord again and all my questions have been answered they have been there all along I wondered these things not because of my past experiences but because of my future what was going to happen to my life. Would I be single for the rest of my life is that what I want? Or do I plan on making my life with someone and living with them, the question I come to all the time Morals and Values vs. Real time experiences sure I was raised to not live with a man until he marry’s me. I was raised to not have a child with a man out of wed lock. I see these men on twitter tweet contradictions of themselves one minuet tweeting “#Ladies if a man loves you he’s not going to do this to you…. Blah blah blah” yes I read them! And then I turn around and I see that same “BOY” I won’t even call him a man tweeting “You fat bitches you get what you want this is how it is” I mean come on now!

Then you have the audacity to question my stance on my belief!!!?!?!? “What the What!!!” any how this isn’t about them this blog is about me, it’s about my walk with God I realized the only man the ONLY ONE MAN that has been with me the course of my birth and my life has been God. He is my father my unborn son my husband my rod and staff he is my strength. He teaches me through his word and guides me through the day through others. He has put people in my life that have shared the word with me and one of the things I had struggled with was being “UNEQUALLY YOLKED“! Some of you may not know the term but I was taught that being “unequally yoked” has a lot to do with relationships.

It basically in lame terms as I understand it means that your husband, significant other, boyfriend whatever who ever is in your love life at that time does not believe in the same belief you do. It could be a number of things he could be catholic or a Satanist, a non believer all the while you have your belief system and it’s not the same as his. Which causes confusion.

How to address these issues before further getting involved with someone before you move on to girlfriend boyfriend status. I would address any issues by questioning and asking point blank what is it that you like what is it that you don’t like what can you deal with and what just right out gets you so upset you want to scream. I think in between what is your favorite color, food, song… there should be at some point a discussion about beliefs. There is so much more than just getting to know someone on a basic level there is the cultural differences, and family and geographically being able to be with someone in question. I mentioned to a good friend of mine that “Gentlemen” means bond of household in German I believe that man that you decided to be with for the rest of your life should be the bond the glue that holds together that family who wants better for their family who servers God with all his heart because if the man in the house is serving the Lord then so will his family. If the man goes to church then so will his family.

CAN LOVE EXIST WHERE THERE IS NO TRUST...?

I can honestly say no, I don’t think it’s easy for me to trust men in my life, because I’ve been hurt by so many. Frankly I don’t want to trust you I don’t have too trust you. I don’t OWE you my trust! I don’t think it’s easy for any rape victim or anyone for that matter to trust men when she’s been hurt to the point where she’s yelling and her skin tears and she’s crying and she has no idea what actually just happened to her body. You can’t force someone who has gone through this to trust you or anyone for that matter. In my opinion you don’t know what everyone’s been through in their life and if they don’t share these things with you then you will never know another part of getting to know someone. God loves me as I am there is no explaining to him he understands he sees all he knows all and to him I have given my trust and my pain and have survived these things learned from them and gained experienced from them.

SO TRUST IN JESUS IS INHERENT TO LOVING GOD...

God asks me to love his son and this is why when I pray I say “In Jesus Name Amen”.

John 14:1 Let not your heart be troubled: ye believe in God, believe also in me.

How can we say that we love Him, if we don't trust Him? And how can we love him and not his son imagine not loving your family this way.

DO WE REALLY TRUST JESUS...?

To be the way, the truth, the life (enough to put our souls in His hands)? - Jn 14:6

To be the provider of our daily needs (enough to put the kingdom first)? - Mt 6:33

How do you express your love for the Lord, do you delight in his company? When you love someone you love being with them you enjoy being with them. Can you imagine someone loving Jesus but not wanting to be with him? We also often demonstrate love by talking about him and through our works. You can tell a person who has God in their hearts not only through praise and worship but by living accordingly to his word.

BY WILLINGLY SUFFERING FOR HIM MANY MAKE GREAT SACRIFICES FOR OTHERS...

Just as parents suffer trying to make it day by day putting food on the table and working hard to survive. Providing a safe environment for their children. This is love a love from real parents who want the best for their children. The love goes beyond providing a roof over their head and food on the table you have to nourish your child with good fruitful words that will help them grown and become the Ladies and Men that are successors! Are you raising your kids to succeed or are you neglecting them ignoring them not spending time with them?

People are willing to jeopardize their lives for loved ones I want to jeopardize my love for the Lord I know he has for me he showed his love by dying for my sins. How much more jeopardy can you show than that? Even a dog will risk his life to save his master. But no man will ever Love me like my father God in Heaven!

While sometimes Gossip may be actually harmful, in small amounts it's innocent, fun and very juicy; not to mention it's one of the main ways to popularity. Make your life worthy to be gossiped about; that includes doing some crazy things once in a while (but not so crazy you're looked down at) while making a reputation of a "Classy" lady.

If your popularity, however, is falling, win back the hearts you were once popular among- by being yourself and doing what you believe is right to gain the admiration of people around you. Be sexy not trashy, when doing photo-shoots don't go completely nude hide a little and leave a little to the imagination rather than giving everything at once. Men love it when a lady leaves something to the imagination and those that want the women to bare all are usually the ones that are afraid to commit! #JustSaying Take good care of yourself. Your "Brand name", skin lotions, shampoos, makeup products and other stuff are very often mentioned in Magazines like Vanity Fair, Elle, Cosmo, Jane etc.. There are many things you can do with Clear nail polish but one of them is fixing that runner in your stocking's. Apply a dab on the end of the run and it will stop running.

Get the style. Trendy clothes, straight hair, polished look- that's the predominant look in the books. Read fashion magazines and go on style.com to find out about the latest trends. Don't follow trends like crazy, though; having your own style is very appreciated. Just buying a few items in style at the moment will save you from bankruptcy and losing your fashion identity. Buy good quality, well-tailored clothes. They don't have to be designer (although a few designer clothes would be great), but they must be stylish, well-designed. and how he doesn't get much time to spend with them..

He told me how he has done so much for a lot of people

Just like God .. how he died for our sins.. this man

I CAN MAKE IT THROUGH THE RAIN...

I chose this song, because lately I've felt like I've been in a rain storm. Grandma has had surgery and feeling like i've lost her was a really sad feeling i couldn't stop crying so much all the times that we've spent together rushed through my mind the memories of how i would stay with her during the summer time. She would send me to the grocery store i would spend $200.00 on grocries and i got to buy whatever i wanted to cook for her and i would have fun discovering new ways to make her diet tastey without salt and things she couldn't have to much of.

Grandma sits with me today and she really can't breath to good but she is breathing. she doesn't want to call the hospital because she doesn't want to go in again. She feels like she's in her last stages and she's been crying a lot she says she's not afraid to die but today she asked me to fill out the forms for the Advance Health Care Directive Kit. So my mother myself and my grandma and my friend all sat down and made sure she knew what she was doing and she signed the forms. This was an emotional process for me because i didn't think my mother would be ok with me being in charge of her medical part of the whole thing since i have been the one to care for my grandmother.

She is mildly overdramatic at times and it has been a rough night and day with her.

I ponder on the times when I was younger just before my Grandpa passed away well he wrote a card for me about graduating and sometimes I wonder what will grandma's last words be to me before she goes. I wonder why God made us this way why we have to lose the ones we love, why there even has to be a last word maybe this is why it's so easy to say good bye in some of the relationships I've been in. "It's a fact that no one is perfect, not one person is the same so how can one be perfect right..?" I often don't realize how old I really am. 34 years is a long time but it never really hits you until you've seen the children you've used to babysit grown and with kids.

What are your favorite colors Grandma? baby blue

Do you have a favorite movie Grandma? I have two of them that I'll never forget when i was younger China's Little Devils and Cotton field China's Little Devils at that time they painted him up to look Chinese i can't remember his name but he became very famous it was during the Pearl Harbor War.

If you could tell anyone anything to better their lives from your experiences what would you tell them? If there young and single don't get married until you get a steady job and have enough money to get your home and then get married to raise a family but don't go from girl to girl or boy to boy just make up your mind and just do it don't let no one stop you weather you don't have a car take a bus I've taken it for many years, and once you have all that thank God and remember without God you can't do nothing.

If you could share a part of your life one memory which one would you share? I had this boyfriend that was in the service and we had plans of getting married when he got out and he got killed in action and that doesn't come out of my mind that was a bad experience but the good experience was living with my mother that was the best experience i ever had she taught me a lot.

What are some of the things your mother taught you? To forgive, not to look down on other people and cleanliness, and how to cook.

Tell me about the time when you were younger when your father took care of you when you had Exema... yeah i was born with a skin disease called exema and it just wouldn't stop my hair didn't grow i didn't have eye lashes eye brows but then at the age of 13 oral Roberts brought his tent revival and i went to church and he prayed for me and i got healed. my Mother would sit up night and day putting all kinds of medicine on me so i wouldn't scratch. Thank God i don't have it anymore. My father was another good person he took care of me he would rap me up in a sheet and take me to the doctor he didn't have a car at the time and he would walk with me in his arms he was the best dad.

What children need most are the essentials that grandparents provide in abundance. They give unconditional love, kindness, patience, humor, comfort, lessons in life. And, most importantly, cookies. ~Rudolph Giuliani

Did you have any friends during that time growing up? very few in school they thought it was catchy but i had my comadre keeto we were very close and i had a few other friends but they moved away and my sister feena she used to take good care of me too.

What was your inspiration for creating a women's home for court committed women who abused drugs? "God of a second Chance #1" I had a women's home and a men's home I ran the womens home and Danny ran the mens home it was a good experience for me because i learned why these women get into drugs and they had bad things happen to them and they didn't leave the home until they were clean and the men they did pretty good after that, and Danny took care of them ... some of the men became preachers.

Who was the most memorable woman? In the women's home it was Gigi, and in the mens home was Patricio.

How did you come up with the idea of running a womens home ? when i started going to church when i was 13 and God healed me i wanted to pay back some way and i would go into the prisons and talk to the men and women and i decided that some of them really needed help and so i decided to create the program for each one.

If you could take it all back would you do anything different? No, I would continue.

Were you around during any of the wars did how did they effect your life? My brother Mo and Franky were in all those war's and then the last one but i remember the war's how some came back and some didn't. It was bad when they got wounded my oldest brother manuel he was president John Kennedy's bodyguard we weren't allowed to see him because he couldn't be out in public. Franky came home and started running around and finally met Mirna and he got married and very seldom seen him. Mo came home and got sick because he got hooked on drugs and there were over 6000 people at his funeral because he worked for the community and they all remembered him because he would help people. and my younger brother passed away but before he died he left his wife and kids a home.

What was your favorite car out of all the car's you've had? My Chevy
What color was it again? bLUE, Baby blue... Chevy. I would walk up and down the street looking for your mother when she would borrow my car oh my God! she made me go through changes!

# Where and when were you born?
In Los Angeles, California in the general Hospital.

# What do you recall about your childhood?
It was a little sad because of my skin condition some kids didn't understand in school. I missed a lot of school i didn't graduate but i made it to the tenth grade.

# Where did you live and go to school?
I went to Pio Pico Grammar School and then i went to Whittier High but i didn't graduate.

# How long did you attend school?
Up til the 11th Grade.

# What do you remember best about your parents?
My father was such a good man he was a Minor he used to go up and look for Gold.
he had so many friends he was a very very nice man, and my mother she was the best cook. always helping people babysitting washing clothes for them for a dollar i would get so mad
i wouldn't understand... why for a Dollar mom? but now i see so many people in need, they need help that was a lesson from my mom to help somebody.

# What did you and your siblings do in your spare time?
Are you kidding !? fight! My sister Lita she thought she was a lot better than me and always flirting with boys and didn't want me around she was ashamed and then she would go out and want me to lie to my mom for the next day that she came home to sleep but she didn't she was always something else. In high school she wouldn't say i was her sister she's always been ta' ta'...

# Did the family move around quite a bit?
No, we lived in Pico for a long time.

# What styles of clothing did children wear then?
Simple, clothing. The mothers at that time didn't like us to wear pants you know like slacks and all that we had to wear a dress my mother would make mine.

Family Traditions

# Did your family have any special traditions?
yes they used to BBQ a lot not the kind that we have now but back then they used to dig a hole and put bricks inside of it and buy a gunny sack and put all the meet in there you know baste the meat and everything and put it in a sack and the next day the meat was done tender.. my mother would make dozens of tortillas and chili or whatever and she would invite people over and we had records at that time and she would play the records. My mother was very well liked by people but i would get very mad when they would ask her to babysit and they only gave her a dollar.

# Are there any family recipes that are particularly special?
[Grandma Chuckles] That i remember a pot of beans, fried rice, and fried potatoes with meat that was a meal we ate all the time once in awhile she made soup, chilli relleno's you know the kind we eat now. when we were eating we could put cheese in it.. she would make flour tortillas they would just spung up!

# Are there any heirlooms that have been passed down from one generation to another?
I can't remember except for pictures but Lita [Grandma's sister] took most of them.

Growing Up

# When did you leave home?
Mo [Grandma's Brother] was in jail, lita ran away, felix had a girlfriend, who else... and i was alone just me and my mom and my mom was always babysitting i think i was about 18, when i went to see Mo in jail but no one came out he's not out yet they said and it was someone else that came out and they said that's him right there and i said no that's not my brother and they asked him what's your name and he said his name and it wasn't my brother. The guy's name was Ray, he was five years older than me and used to walk like a Cholo.. and started coming around and everything and that was it, he got what he wanted and then after i was pregnant i told my mom she couldn't believe it and she said you gotta get married and when he came over to visit ...my mother told him he had to marry me. then he started thieving and they got him and put him in jail and i went to pastor Sonny and he paid for my divorce when i went to sonny he asked me what happened i said Ray beat me up and that's how i lost my eye. I got a restraining order on him and don't know where he's at anymore. Then Renee [Grandma's Daughter] was running around the streets and doing drugs and they put her in a christian home and she did it again and they busted her and she got a probation officer and Renee's father married Renee's probation officer.

A few months after .. the next time when i was sitting in the park walking Chonga and there he was Ray... sitting in the park and then again he beat me up and this time when Renee saw me she asked me "what happened mom?" and i said your father beat me up and Renee told her probation officer and he never came around again.

# Did you have a favorite aunt/uncle?
Uncle, just my sister fina she was like my dad when he married my mom he had already had fina and Manuel from his first wife but my mom raised em' so she was like my step sister. but she was good at everything. and Manuel spent most of his time in the service we had an uncle named Jimmy i didn't like him because he came down the house and he would try to hug my mom and i didn't like him.

my aunt my mothers sister, keeka [aka] frances but they used to call her keeka she lived in el paso and then she moved down to pico. just up the street she would visit my mom
ooh they were always so happy and then they had another sister Belen that came down my mom's house and she had a son named chewy and that's when Renee got pregnant and i blamed him because he disappeared but i had blamed the wrong man for getting my daughter pregnant then she gave the baby up for adoption that's why she's so close to those kids [the kids she has now] she doesn't leave them out of her sight.

# When did you get married?
I married Lupe and we got married but he met somebody else and left and i told him he better pay for the divorce and he did and then no more...

# How did you meet your spouse?
In a night club I think.. in San Gabriel the man had to go somewhere and asked me if i would tend the bar and i didn't know anything about that and he said oh it's easy and i worked there for awhile and he walked in and that was it. but he had been married before
and had kids and was always over there and i said ah. forget you!

Occupation

# What did your parents do for a living?
My mother would clean houses and cook for people a house keeper, and my father was a Minor.In those day's in Pico they had trucks that would come and sell corn on the cob or potatoes we hardly had any meet either unless they would kill a chicken. some people would make tortillas and sell them at that time there were hardly any stores. everybody would make Menudo and share with everybody not like now.

# How old were you when you got your first job?
I think i was 14 i used to babysit 75cents an hour that was a lot I'd be all happy because they would pay me cash and i would take it to my mom and i think i was 17 when i started to work in Birdcage Pacific Bell Birdcage i was a welder. i had a lot of jobs and then i worked at the Biltmore florist making corsages and reefs we worked at the floats we decorated the floats.

# Which job was your favorite?
the floats especially because i never knew what the baby orchids were.

Physical Characteristics

# What physical characteristics do people in your family share?
I look like my mom i have her build and i have big breast just like she did Renee looks like her dad.

I remember a time when grandma tried out her new electric wheel chair and we got stuck in the middle of the street and i had to steer for her and she ran over my toes. LOL - Sarah Saldana

Religion

# What part did religion play in your family?
Well we were brought up catholic but when Oral Roberts came with the Tent Revival i went to church and liked it but i think by that time Lita had run away with stein and Mo and Piga everyone was gone. and mom would go to church every Sunday. Then my brothers started to go to church.

# Were you very religious?
When i started going to church i was beginning to be religious i wasn't to much into it because i wasn't reading the bible and all that and they had baptismal and Sony had that big place where he lived and i liked it we all got baptized and i said I'm going to stay here and my life started changing and my mom started going and we liked it and it was good.

Mo was so famous they used to give him these big things of velveeta cheese and he would take them to Mexico and when Mo died Everyone was there. and when he died Piga wanted to go the day before because she didn't want to be there when his new wife was there. but the next day there was his wife sitting up in there like she was all it. Hardly anyone went up to console her because they liked Piga.

SO uncle Ray aka Mo was married to Piga ?? I didn't know that! ??? YeaH, YeaH... grandma and i were laughing after this.. lol.

Grandma's last words the years of working were tiring for me. I would get sick but not like now.. . I just turned 75 and everything fell apart but i got to do what i wanted to do in life. i had a lot of friends but then i kept moving around.

"Losing Family"

"Losing Family"

“Family: My idea of the definition of family, a circle of people committed to your well being, and who have become dedicated to working together to better each-others future reaching the goal of obtaining one‘s growth in society. “

Losing family, is never easy but often the reality is that we could never really be prepared. I’ve often thought about all the family I’ve lost. There was a time I’ve lost my two uncles, my grandfather, and my cousin all within the same time frame. My uncle Julian had serocis of the liver, My uncle Raymond aka Mo’ had cancer, my cousin “baby“, well she had a rare skin disease that made her skin shrink and it shrunk and cut off her oxygen. That was how Cousin “Baby” passed away [as far as I‘ve been told].

The sad truth is that none of my family ever spent enough time getting to know each other. I don’t even really know if my cousins real name was “Baby” I was told it was. My grandpa “Tony, Antonio, Anthony” died from choking on a pastrami vein and he had a heart attack. I never got to go to any of their funerals, other than my Grandfathers, however I was always invited to the wake, right before they did the burial and even if I had gone I probably wouldn’t recall or remember it.

I went to my grandfathers wake just before they buried him his son in law’s son was about 3 or 4 years old and told me that his father had killed my grandpa. I was in shock and did not know where to turn with that news, “what could you do?” I mean his son had witnessed his father do the himlic on my grandpa. And the son in law had fallen back because my grandpa was over weight and he couldn’t save him. When my Grandfather passed away it was like losing a father. He has been the only male figure in my life and I would not really see him as often as I would have liked too.

People come into our lives everyday and we never expect them to suddenly go. And for some odd reason, one way or another we lose them, to a death, an illness, or just with time they fade away and then we create new friends and new families.

There has been one occasion that I have worked with someone and they slipped and fell in our office bathroom, and because of that they have passed away. He was our “Office Grandpa” Another male figure in my life, a detective whom I grew up with my mentor passed away from cancer.

There have been many people in my life because I have never had a “Real” father in my life, try to take the place and fill the void of what was missing. Rather than being honest with me and just saying they’d be there for me. I often think how it would be when the time comes how it would feel to lose them too. What then we move on to make more family and the best thing about that is that we chose who we call family.

I learned this as a young girl when my first “so called” best friend was an adopted child. She had been abused by her mother you never really know to what extent abuse can be categorized as the “worst case”. Because I always thought her case was worst, when she would sit with me and talk about how her mother used to twist her hair with a knife on the kitchen floor, as the story goes. She lost not only her real mother and I don’t mean that losing family in the sense has to only be when someone passes on, but rather in her situation she lost a mother because her mother had lost her mind. She lost a father because her father never wanted a child let alone deal with the mother. Then her adopted mother was another woman who I knew who had passed away from cancer.

My reason writing this blog, is because we lose people everyday to the extent of someone passing away and someone who just moved on with their own life, we lose the friends we met in high school, we lose touch with our elementary teachers, and we move on when we obtain new jobs or move into a new home, we lose family, everyday.

“I have lost many family members in my life sometimes even three or more at a time.” #LoveEachother !!

I first heard of Heather Kozar from my boyfriend Paul, @PaulBritPhoto He shared a couple of photo's of her with me and expressed how well she did in her career. Now the thing about Paul is most men would be panting while explaining to their girlfriends that they shared an interest in another woman let alone a playmate! I have to commend Paul not only on his bravery of sharing his "HighSchool" crush so to speak.

I loved listening to him speak about Heather and how interesting her life story was Paul wasn't like most men you have to buy a towel not for yourself but for them. No in-fact he was very professional and rather respectful in our discussion about Heather. He mentioned a few things to me about how Heather Kozar was an American model and known as Playboy's Playmate of the Month for January 1998.

Not only did she appear on the cover of the June 1999 issue of the Playboy magazine, but she had been voted Playmate of the Year for 1999. Her original centerfold was photographed by Richard Fegley. I did a search on Richard Fegley to see if i could see what this man looked like that photographed one of the historic sexiest legends of Playboy! Well sadly i have to report i could not find one photo of Fegely.

Heather has also been a Barker's Beauty model for the popular CBS daytime game show, The Price Is Right. I used to watch this all the time with my granny and never knew or had the slightest idea who that woman was but always thought wow! she's pretty. I couldn't believe that by listening to Paul and then researching Heather on my own that i would find out information that was just new and surprising to me!

Kozar is married to ex-Cleveland Browns quarterback Tim Couch. Now many people are talking about the "Trophy Wife" She definitely shows talent of a said "Trophy Wife" She's smart, she did her thing and she didn't get sleezy she just did what she set out to do and was professional and had fun with it!

{Heather Kozar was raised in a strict Christian home, Heather was not allowed to watch anything that contained sex or cursing, especially soap operas as they were deemed too provocative.} This was funny to read because not to long ago i did my Graphic Designs on a friend of mine and my sister was sending me text messages saying i was using my talent to help the devil so i know exactly what Heather must of felt like when her family was so strict. It's hard living up to these expectations I call it the disease of the Beaver Family. I'm sure you understand exactly what i mean. However Heather Kozar felt that

Growing up in a sheltered environment and suffering from low self-esteem while in high school, the blue-eyed blonde surely didn't know the impact she would have on males everywhere, due in large part to her relationship with Hugh Hefner... and his magazine, Heather, got more than what she bargained for.

Some of the duties include...

When Heather Kozar was performing Playboy duties, she had the same responsibilities and goals. While on duty, she was responsible for advertising the magazine. One Duty was to socialize with people at a location that is hosting a special event. Events could be EXPO's in Los Angeles to Expo's in other area's city's or states. This can include mingling with businessmen at a business dinner, party goers at a club, revelers at Mardi Gras or guests at a Playboy Mansion gathering.

Photo Shoot Responsibilities....

During the course of being a Playmate, Heather had to pose for photos. Some girls pose for magazine spreads, while others pose for online picture galleries. Regardless of the final destination of each model's pictures, there are two factors that remains constant during the shoot: the Playmate must be comfortable in the poses she is asked to do, and those present at the shoot must act in a professional manner.

The 1994 Green High School graduate appeared in a Playboy Video, she was also in the Playmate Calendar in 1999 and 2000, Playmates of the Year: The '90s (a retrospective of the past Playmates of the decade in 1999), Playmate Pajama Party in 1999, and the Playboy Video Centerfold: Playmate of the Year Heather Kozar in 1999.

As one can see, Heather was honored with the titles of January 1998 Playmate of the Month, and reigned as Playmate of the Year in 1999. Part of those duties include appearances at the Playboy Expo in 1999, and being a regular housemate in the Playboy mansion.

Heather Kozar, more than a mate

she has also made non-adult appearances in 1999, in WWF Smackdown!, Shasta McNasty (as did Lisa Boyle), Rescue 77, a Wendy's commercial, and the requisite Playmate pit stop, The Howard Stern Show. She would do more acting gigs if she had more time for auditions. Heather seems to be able to keep it together and works well under pressure considering she's a mother to two children one boy and one girl she still maintains that mindset career mode.

Her latest stint features her joining a bevy of beauties, Barker's beauties to be exact, as a model for The Price is Right. Previous famous Price is Right Models include Gena Lee Nolin and Cindy Margolis.

When Heather was engaged, she still keept busy with the Playmate after-buzz. She had hopes then to be married and a mother, and appear on a show like Entertainment Tonight.

She gave birth to a son Chase Scott Couch 7lbs 5oz and 20" long on August 5, 2005. and to a second son with husband Tim Couch, Brady was born in March 2009 joining big brother Chase Scott.

Heather appeared in (1999) July 17-18 - appearing at The Playboy Expo in Los Angeles, California.

Where is she now you wonder.. Heather IS NOW married to Tim Couch, from Cleveland Browns fame, and has the latest edition little girl! Congrats on your lovely successful career and family Heather!! So happy to have been introduced to you by one of your biggest fan's!

Lemons! Lemons! Lemons! I love Lemons!

Lemons I love Lemons because they have the ability to brighten any day. They remind me of memories of having saladito's with lemons with my sister. I love lemon on my Salsa Fresca, carnitas, carne asada and fish taco's. You can put lemon on almost anything that you don't like to eat and kill the taste. Lemon juice taste great on corn on the cob with parmasan cheese.

Lemons can be used for anything Lemon pies, and lemon cake and lemon candy drops! There are many types of Lemons, Sweet lemons and bitter Lemons

[The Meyer lemon, actually a cross between a lemon and possibly an orange or a mandarin, was named for Frank N. Meyer who first discovered it in 1908.] "This is the kind of Lemon Tree I have in my back yard."

A bowl of fresh lemons will add fragrance and color to a room for days.
Add a slice or two of fresh lemon to a glass of water. It has visual appeal and makes the water taste and smell better.
If you are reducing your sodium or fat intake, try squeezing a wedge of fresh lemon on salads, steamed vegetables, soups and stews. You'll never miss the salt or butter!
Roll a room temperature lemon on the counter a few times to maximize the amount of juice.
Add the grated zest of fresh lemon to recipes for added intensity in cakes and cookies.

The Encyclopedia's Definition of Lemon

The lemon is both a small evergreen tree (Citrus × limon, often given as C. limon) native to Asia and the tree's oval yellow fruit. The fruit is used for culinary and nonculinary purposes throughout the world – primarily for its juice, though the pulp and rind (zest) are also used, mainly in cooking and baking. Lemon juice is about 5% to 6% (approximately 0.3 Molar) citric acid, which gives lemons a sour taste, and a pH of 2 to 3. This makes lemon juice an inexpensive, readily available acid for use in educational science experiments. Many lemon-flavored drinks and candies are available, including lemonade and lemonheads.

Culinary Uses Lemon juice, rind, and zest are used in a wide variety of culinary applications:

Lemon juice and rind are used to make marmalade and lemon liqueur.

Lemon slices and lemon rind are used a garnish for both food and drinks.

Lemon zest, the grated rind of the fruit, is used to add flavor to baked goods, puddings, rice and other dishes.

Pickled lemons are a Moroccan delicacy.

Non-culinary uses

Citric acid - Lemons were the primary commercial source of this substance prior to the development of fermentation-based processes.
Lemon battery - A popular science experiment in schools involves attaching electrodes to a lemon and using it as a battery to produce electricity. Although very low power, several lemons used in this way can power a small digital watch.^[11] These experiments also work with other fruits and vegetables.
Sanitary kitchen deodorizer - deodorize, remove grease, bleach stains, and disinfect; when mixed with baking soda, lemon juice can remove stains from plastic food storage containers.^[12]
Insecticide - The d-limonene in lemon oil is used as a non-toxic insecticide treatment. See orange oil.
Antibacterial uses because it has a low pH
Wood treatment - lemon oil is used in both wood cleaner and polish, where the solvent property of d-limonene is employed to disolved old wax, fingerprints, and grime.
A halved lemon is used as a finger moistener for those counting large amounts of bills such as tellers and cashiers.
Aromatherapy - In one of the most comprehensive scientific investigations done yet, researchers at The Ohio State University reveal that lemon oil aroma does not influence the human immune system but may enhance mood.^[13]
A halved lemon dipped in salt or baking powder can be used to brighten copper cookware. The acid cuts through the tarnish and the abrasives assist the cleaning.
Lemon juice may also be used to lighten hair color.

Lemon juice is valued in the home as a stain remover, and a slice of lemon dipped in salt can be used to clean copper-bottomed cooking pots. Lemon juice has been used for bleaching freckles and is incorporated into some facial cleansing creams.

Lemon peel oil is much used in furniture polishes, detergents, soaps and shampoos. It is important in perfume blending and especially in colognes.

Petitgrain oil (up to 50% citral), is distilled from the leaves, twigs and immature fruits of the lemon tree in West Africa, North Africa and Italy. With terpenes removed, it is greatly prized in colognes and floral perfumes.

Lemon peel, dehydrated, is marketed as cattlefeed.

[How I define: Graphic Designing & Photography]

I define Graphic Design simply as the process of combining text and graphics to convey important information and effective messages.

Graphic Design consist of many visual communicative aides, such as designs of logo’s, billboards, posters, signs, brochures, business cards, newsletters, to identify special Groups, Programs, businesses or promotions ie., Cd Covers, T-Shirts, and Flyers for concerts, parties, and meetings not limited to wedding and baby shower invitations.

Graphic Designing is really exciting for me because my designs incorporate my favorite hobby which is Photography so I not only get to add a bit of my soul to my designs and you take with you “a piece of me”.

A Graphically Designed Brochure is: “A brochure that makes usually boring things seem exciting or a business card that entices the customer to call instead of toss it away. Clients, owe at least part of their success to good Graphic Design it doesn’t matter if it was created with the newest or oldest software or a “Crayon”.

Graphic Design/Art also includes various types of “fonts”. Many products and distributing companies for example; computer companies such as Hewlette Packard, Toshiba, Dell, Compaq and many other names that go unmentioned have used different types of Fonts to distinguish their products.

“Logo’s that require much attention are those that have bright colors, the color levels need much attention. Cute icons, 3D effects, shiny surfaces, shadows and reflections and fonts are simple. In some cases the color levels, shines and 3D effects are also applied afterward.”

These effects must be used very carefully, because there have been countless cases where a logo designer uses these elements to make a logo but neglects to give the concept the necessary attention it deserves.

Transparency in Design has always been fashionable Transparency communicates elegance and allows a combination of different design elements offering the viewer a special image.

With the help of transparency I am able to incorporate my photography into my designs. Creating perspectives of connection with the ideas of growth and development.

With transparency as in the above photo/design I have given you an idea of what one photograph’s colors can do when it is layered over another to give a different perspective. Giving it life rather than a dull photo of a flower you see one of many colors rather than one. With the transparency effect photographers for many years have added wedding photo’s of couples hands in the middle of a rose, or the couples faces in a glass, special effects and transparency allows much more depth to a photo and design.

You can take a photo of a house and a beach and combine the two and make it look as if the house is sitting on the shore of the beach with transparency and layers.

This is what Graphic Design and Photography has done for me and what it means to me. It has opened up a whole new world that i now can share with you!! xoxo

Often, the people that are talking about their lives are going through abusive situations and have not reported it to the police. This Cause that I came up with is to help inform, and encourage many men and women to stop get off of the computer and report the problem to the police.

“Venting” is one thing, letting people know about your life and living it in the past and overcoming it and sharing it for the purposes of helping others is one thing, but to use it as a disadvantage to lure a man or women to have sex, or to gain attention is not ok with me, and if your being abused in any form including domestic violence issues, or have been raped there are things that need to be immediately done to protect you! “DO NOT” waist time chatting about the problem get off the computer and “STOP & REPORT” it! Take care of it!

Many people laugh about their issues masking the problem but never willing to report it because they are either too afraid, or in some cases actually enjoy the abuse.

It is often at times veiled with Joking and humor so that people would never know that anything was wrong until it was too late. In some cases and in my own life experiences in regards to child abuse parent’s are always threatening children to keep quiet or using a sibling to make threats.

“My mom used to tell me that if I had ever told anyone that I was abused my sister would be taken away and our family would be broken up and it would be my fault”

Another angle of an abusive situation was the abuse my mother was going through at the hands of my Step-Father and my witnessing it.

Driving down the freeway one day and my mother and father were arguing, my mother leaned over and shifted a gear in the truck and we almost went off the road into a wall. Years later I mentioned that to my step-dad and he said “You were there?” Point is parents are often oblivious to their children’s presence at all during the abuse they are not aware of what the child is witnessing.

If you are being abused “Stop & Report” it or know someone who is, please contact your local authorities. You never know whose life you might be saving! Your not hurting me your only hurting yourself when you don't!!!

“Relationship Advisors” “Snort”

I never understood how women/men could be jealous of someone else’s relationship. I guess it could be because they are having their own difficulties in their own relationships.

Men and women will always find something that they are not happy with in their relationship rather than focus on the good things that they have. They tend to focus on what others have instead of making memories of their own.

My opinion is everyone is either afraid of what they don’t know and or want what they can’t obtain.

Let’s examine some of “the people who care” on twitter, care…? about what? “My well being?”

“When is it beyond the call of the duty as a friend and crossing the boundaries of counseling?”

“You say you’re a counselor.. where’s your certification?” “Your degree?”

“What makes you more special than me what entitles you to know more than I do about my own relationship?”

When I asked pauls opinion he took his Bluetooth ear piece out and farted in it and said

“That’s my thoughts of the matter” Paul is un-following entire cliques of gossip filled m*ther f*ckers as he puts it.

Paul said to me yesterday “Why would women you never want to fuck give relationship advice to those who are?”

I wouldn’t put things so bluntly because there are two sides of the coin. If you invite people into your life and share your stories with them of course they always want to advise you. What you shouldn’t do and what you should do? Offer their opinion.

But isn’t there anything that can be done for these type of friends? Who don’t know the boundaries of psychology and friendship when is it wrong to dissect your friends relationship? How do you know that they aren’t upset that you are prying?

"Counselors must make every effort to avoid dual relationships with clients that could impair their professional judgment or increase the risk of harm to clients. When a dual relationship cannot be avoided, counselors must take appropriate steps to ensure that judgment is not impaired and that no exploitation occurs."

"Recognize the trust placed in and unique power of the therapeutic relationship.”

“While acknowledging the complexity of some counseling relationships, avoid exploiting the trust and dependency of clients.”

Avoid those “dual” relationships sexual and non sexual with clients (e.g., business or close personal relationships) which could impair your professional judgment, compromise the integrity of the treatment, and/or use the relationship for our own gain."

“Crossing this line can be dangerous.”

Most states have well-defined training and certification requirements for individuals seeking a license to perform counseling dealing with mental health and emotional well-being. Performing those services without a license you can violate a state's certification requirements.

An influential article, widely-cited in several literature and ethics cases, that proposed the disticnction between boundary crossings and boundary violations, described how to assess each boundary crossing on a case-by-case basis that takes into account the context and situation-specific facts, and that explored diverse boundaries such as role, time, place and space, money, gifts, services, clothing, language, self-disclosure, and physical contact.

The reason for this blog is not because I’m angry or upset, and want to lash out at all counselors for the many times MANY MANY times counselors have crossed the boundaries with me.

One when this intern at work whom I felt sorry for because her fiancé left her, I took her to Best buy to buy a cd of music to make her happy and cheer her up she cursed me out through the entire store causing me to vomit some suppressed things that had happened to me.

I can’t recall the whole situation because I just don’t remember maybe because I would rather not remember it was just a bad experience.

Secondly amongst twitter we have a counselor who I felt had an interest in my boyfriend and was telling me to break up with him and that he was not good for me offering this sound advice all the while … she was following my boyfriend and then chose one day to un-follow him and myself and then re-follows us the next day.

Of course I didn’t follow back and I don’t plan on it. But those are two examples.

Thirdly Doctors to me are like counselors.. they have to keep a certain level of professionalism amongst twitter and I ran into this OBGYN who I thought oh I could trust with some personal questions about the rape that I had experienced well because I had a disagreement with one of her fellow followers, she threatened to go on the grid with my personal questions.

How if I can’t go to a professional with something personal how do you EXPECT ME to trust you! How do you expect me to build trust??? A friendship.. ?? is there something wrong here? Are you listening to me..??

DON’T COUNSEL ME! I don’t need your counseling I need a friend! Someone who will listen but not offer their opinion someone willing to let me be WHO I AM.. who I want to be.. not someone willing to change me.

“You are not an accident”, You ever wonder when your alone in your room you’re back at 15 years old and your pimpled face and getting ready for high school, the first day of high school and you’re a freshman. You wake up you press your clothes you can’t decide what you want to wear? You feel the pressures already, peer pressure to fit in.

Life is not easy as a young adult and it’s harder when you face the first day of high school, with the ugly truth that you are not the daughter of the man sitting next to you dropping you off at the front of the school on your first day.

That pimpled face girl with bottle capped glasses and the bad hair do’ was me. My Step-father turned to me that day and said there’s something I have to tell you. “I’m not really your father”… now my face was puzzled I didn’t know what to believe I didn’t know why, and I didn’t understand..

I was going to be late. I just wanted to get out of the car. I was afraid to be in the car with him as it was. He went on to explain to me that my mother would have to tell me the truth someday. And I ran down the stairs at high school with tears in my eyes sitting on the cement bench, It was passed my first class and I was alone in school sitting there waiting as the bells rang and not wanting to go to class because I was a mess.

I had to go to class though because I didn’t want to get caught by the safety guard so I went to my counselor and asked for a pass and she turned to me and said why?

Why are you late to your class? Why aren’t you in class? And I said there was something that came up and I was late and she could tell by looking at me I had been crying so did not press to question me further and gave me the pass and I went on to class.

I went through the rest of the day wondering about what he meant and what to expect to hear when I got home. The school day was over and my mother picked me up from school. She didn’t tell me anything she had no idea my step-father had told me what he had told me about not being his daughter.

We got home and I walked in the house and I went to my room and put my belongings down and went straight into the kitchen and asked my mother what she thought he meant by what he had told me. She called me to come sit with her on the couch that day. She had not planned on telling me at a young age. She wanted to tell me when I got a bit older but felt forced now to tell me the truth.

I had been born from a rape that had happened to her. She said as she cried that God was my father and that she was blessed with me and that she had the option for abortion but chose to have me and because she chose to have me she’s been blessed.

Basically, I don’t even remember the rest of this conversation. I don’t recall it at all… I figure because it was a bit of a shock to me at that age… other than what I do remember of it. I knew then and I know now and have always known “God” To be my father and he does not make mistakes, and I am no accident.

I remember a time when I was younger I was 3-4 years old at the time I watched my father beat my mother repeatedly as she was pregnant with my baby sister getting my mother on the floor hitting her with high heels and tennis shoes, and didn’t even care that I was there watching….

Parent’s you are modeling relationships for your children sit listen and hear this story… It’s for you.

Many times the relationships I have had not to many but the one’s I have had where Jose’ this guy who told me if I had cheated on him he wouldn’t beat the guy up but he would beat me in front of him so he would be hurt not me.

Another ex was Alfonso, he had me in a head lock and told me if I knew he could kill me. These are the past relationships I’ve had.. these are the things that I learned from…

My parent’s were not much of a modeled relationship for me they had to call the police many times to our house to stop my parents from yelling and throwing things and my step-father from beating my mother. I didn’t understand it and still don’t understand how a man could take a hand to a woman.

And for women to sit there and say “this is ok she deserved it..” are just as bad, sure I can understand being upset because you know all in all you have the choice you can leave.. you can walk out!

Hence the song “I’VE CHANGED MY MIND! I DON’T LOVE YOU NO MORE! DON’T WAISTE MY TIME! “ just like the words say don’t waist my time don’t abuse me don’t take my life into your hands and beat me that’s not love, never has been and never will be.

Stand your ground be strong and stick to your word. You love your children then do it for them if not for yourself!

Sure things are easier said than done but I’m 34’ years old now and I’ve done it and so can you!

“Your probably thinking what about the bills, who’s going to take those over right? Fighting over money issues, or where you left your clothes on the floor or the hair in the bathroom sink that your husband shaved over, or leaving the toilet seat up.. ? Choose your arguments, don’t let petty stuff become the bit of your relationships!

There was a time I can recall [in color] my mother gave me an allowance $20.00 dollars to buy something from a yard sale. My mother knew that I wanted a swing set for my unborn baby sister, and she gave me just enough to buy it. My mother knew that I loved my baby sister and would buy her the swing set.

I did we were happy we went home and my step-father again came in and I am not sure because I was too young to tell if he was high or drunk, or just being upset because of his own cycle of abuse that he went through sometimes you just don’t know.

But now I have many views of the whole situation. My Step-father came in that day and he was hitting my mom and I looked at him and I was young and I yelled “I HATE YOU!”

I ran down the hall way and sat behind the door and cried and I was scared that he was going to hit me and I peeked out the door because he didn’t come after me he went after my mother pointing at her saying it was all her fault.

“See what you did It’s all your fault” –Step-father

I ran out and I told him “Stop it just stop it, you can break anything just don’t break the swing set that’s for my sister!” and he looked at me I can’t forget this big shadow hovering over me that said in a deep voice

“ I can break anything in this house I want” –Step-father

He then grabbed the swing set and stepped on it and broke it and threw it out the window along with a T.V. and my pet bird who’s name was “Happy” I believe my bird was almost near death I know my grandma said she was going to borrow my bird to show a friend and she never came back with it and for years I blamed her for getting rid of my bird and stealing my bird from me but what I didn’t realize that I realize now.. is that she was trying to keep me from seeing my bird Die.
